If you are unable to visit Hyde Park before your move, our leasing consultants step in with personalized video tours over FaceTime or Zoom. Our team also offers pre-recorded virtual tours and updated apartment pictures online.

No need to haul furniture! Ivy Residences offers modern furniture packages with pieces that fit your studio or one-bedroom apartment’s floor plan. Standard furniture packages include a full-size mattress and bed frame, loveseat, desk, desk chair, dining table, and two chairs. Upon your arrival, all furniture is set up–just unpack your personal belongings to feel right at home!

Ivy Residences stands out because we offer high-quality service for all future residents. Our Resident Hub serves each resident by answering all of your questions and ensuring everything is prepared for your arrival. Future residents also use our digital resource guide to set up utilities, register as a local voter, forward mail, and more! Distance movers enjoy being able to remotely prepare all aspects of their move-in experience prior to their arrival with these tools.

After moving in, this app serves as your guide to life in Hyde Park. Need to know where to get a city sticker for your vehicle? Unsure where to find bus routes? Our concierge app keeps all of this information at your fingertips. Our online resident portal (also available as a mobile app) allows you to schedule auto-payments and enter maintenance requests.

Getting Around

Public transportation in Chicago is widely used and easily accessed. Explore the city via CTA buses, many of which stop within 1 block of our apartment communities. Renters who work at or attend The University of Chicago love that the UGo shuttle bus routes were designed to pass near all of our apartment communities. Get to campus or UChicago Hospital within minutes with your University ID. Access downtown Chicago from the comfort of Metra trains with two stations nearby (53rd Street and 56th Street). Hyde Park provides a charming neighborhood feel in a city environment. Downtown Hyde Park’s variety of delicious restaurants and inviting shops create a living experience unlike anywhere else in Chicago. When out-of-towners visit, many local hotel options offer varying levels of stay experiences based on their preferences. Shop for groceries at Hyde Park Produce, Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods, all located near our apartment communities.

Our residents love Hyde Park because of its accessibility to nature. Hyde Park has the most park spaces per square foot of any neighborhood in Chicago. If you long to be near the water, the Lakefront Trail is due east of our communities. Enjoy breathtaking views at Promontory Point, jog or bike up and down the coast, or visit the nearest beach at 57th St. The neighborhood’s numerous parks offer more than just trees and grass. Our public parks include tennis courts, playgrounds, dog parks, gardens, art sculptures, grass trails, and beyond.
