Contact the resident services team for a list of which utilities you must setup prior to moving in.

Xfinity Internet

Our apartment communities are wired for internet and cable TV through Xfinity.

COM ED

ComEd is Chicago’s electricity provider that services all Ivy Residences communities.

PEOPLES GAS

If your apartment requires heating and/or cooking gas setup, choose Peoples Gas.

PREPARE FOR YOUR MOVE

MAIL FORWARDING

Set up mail forwarding and the change-of-address process directly through USPS.

VOTER REGISTRATION

Register to vote and/or change your voting address quickly and easily through Chicago Board of Elections.

CITY DECAL

All cars registered to a Chicago address must have a city decal or are subject to a ticket and/or fine.

PACKAGE DELIVERY

Ivy Residences cannot accept packages for residents prior to their move. We recommend shipping any items to the following locations, and view more about parcel deliveries here.

USPS

The nearest USPS location is in Lake Park Plaza at 1510 E. 55th St.

FEDEX

The nearest full-service FedEx location can be found at 1315 E. 57th St.

UPS

The nearest UPS location can be found at 1507 E. 53rd St.

AMAZON LOCKERS

Find them in Whole Foods & Kimbark Plaza (on the side of Leona’s) service our community.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Chicago offers fantastic public transportation options that are within walking distance to all of our apartment communities.

CTA

CTA operates the city’s bus and train routes (the El). Download the Ventra app to use as your ticket on each ride. Use the button below to plan your trip on CTA.

UGO SHUTTLE

UChicago designed its free shuttle routes to pass near each of our communities for students, faculty, and staff. U-Go has different day and night routes. Click below for details.

METRA

Metra is ideal for longer trips, taking riders into the Loop or out to the suburbs. Hyde Park’s stops are along the ME line. Buy your ticket on the Ventra app, and plan your trip below.
