Something great about Hyde Park is that it’s part of a bigger city, so there’s no lack of hotels in Hyde Park Chicago.

We love our family. We love our friends. Sharing a living space with them, even for a few days, sometimes isn’t the best idea, though. There’s nowhere for both of your parents to stay in your studio apartment, or maybe your roommate needs to study for their economics final on Monday morning when your childhood friend is in town for the weekend. Sometimes, you just want to have a break from listening to Grandma’s small talk about the weather, or you can’t stand your brother’s snoring.

Here are a few tried-and-true spots to recommend when you have visitors coming.
